Biltmore Park Town Square
Asheville, North Carolina’s first mixed-use community, Biltmore Park Town Square, serves as a blueprint for creating a livable community that is pedestrian friendly, energy efficient, and environmentally
friendly. This vibrant town center, re-imagines the Main Streets of the past, and creates a forward thinking community based on smart growth, green living and reduced driving. The design is driven from the eclectic mix of downtown Asheville’s architecture styles.
This multi-phased development is 1.75 million square feet planned on 40 acres. The project encompasses 29 buildings featuring retail and office tenants, entertainment venues and 206 residential units. MSTSD, Inc. is architect of record for three 4-story retail buildings with residential units above totaling 220,000 square feet; a 3-story 73,000 square foot office over retail building, four parking decks for 1,882 vehicles, two condominium buildings, three town home buildings, a 4-story apartment building and a 2-story 28,000 square foot REI outdoor store. In addition, the town center contains a Barnes & Noble, state-of-the-art YMCA, Regal Biltmore Grande Stadium 15 movie theater and the luxurious Hilton Asheville. Biltmore Park Town Square is part of the USGBC’s LEED for Neighborhood Development pilot program.
