This Class A contemporary 25,000 square foot corporate headquarters for Halpern Enterprises is designed to deliver a new corporate image for Halpern, after relocating their firm from a previous 50 year location. The building stands on a prominent site located in the newly formed City of Sandy Springs, on a major thoroughfare yet, in a heavily residential neighborhood. The owner had the foresight to realize that their company deserved a home and a space that was in keeping with the organization’s 50 year history, yet conveyed the future. The building’s design was to be a timelessly restrained, yet stand the test of time for years to come. The facility is designed with precast concrete, low-e bronze glass. The circular stair was defined by the site and is an expressive architectural gesture which when lit at night emits a beacon-like glow. Halpern Enterprises is a family owned business and desired that the interiors of their headquarters be reflective of a family environment, instead of a high corporate design style.
